Consultation/Professional Training
I have extensive experience in training other professionals at all levels of training. I have supervised many (50+) junior professionals from their first therapy session throughout obtaining their postdoctoral fellowships and obtaining independent licensure. While the vast majority of my supervisees have been clinical psychologists-in-training (Ph.D.’s and PsyD’s), I have also had the pleasure of working with individuals seeking their LPC, LCPC, and MSW licensure as well as psychiatry residents.
Additionally, along with colleagues I have co-developed numerous training models that have utilized in many different training spaces. For example, I helped developed a multicultural consultation team model as well as a trauma therapy provider consultation model. I have also developed tools for training junior clinicians in evidence-based, multiculturally conscious, and trauma-informed approaches including the Culturally Conscious Adult Therapy Intake and Case Conceptualization for Training Clinicians (CC-ATICC).
I have also held both short and long-term consultation roles. For example, I provided year-long consultation (including didactics, weekly site visits, and individual therapy and group consultation) to a group of providers wanting to learn to implement DBT at a substance-use treatment center.
I absolutely love working with supervisees and would welcome training, supervisory, and consultation opportunities. I can offer one-time consultations as well as longer-term training experiences specific to your interests and areas for growth. If you are interested seeking individual or group supervision or consultation, please contact me for pricing.
Speaking Engagements
I love being able to speak to groups about topics related to mental health! We can all benefit from learning tips and tricks to increase our well-being. Presentations will focus on gaining practical, accessible skills that can be easily applied to one’s life and work. I aim to make workshops engaging, with room for questions, discussions, demonstrations, and activities. I have had the privilege of speaking to many groups (some below) and would be delighted to create a workshop specifically for your team. I offer virtual and in-person trainings ranging from one- hour workshops to multi-day events. I look forward to connecting with you and designing an engaging workshop just for you!
